Filthy Gorgeous Fashion meets Sincerely Jules

Yesterday my sister and I went to Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza to meet blogger at Sincerely Jules.For those of you who don’t know who she is,she is a super popular fashion blogger. The event was so a lot of fun, I got to chat with her a bit and she was super nice and down to earth. She also loved my jacket..thank you Nasty Gal.I was lusting hardcore for her Valentino heels..how ahmazing are those. Nordstrom is changing their Savvy department and making it more affordable as well as bringing in some new brands like Minkpink and  Wildfox,that being said, it was exciting yet dangerous at the same time.My sister and I definitely did a little damage but the coolest thing is we were able to split what we bought because we end up wearing each other’s clothes anyways(such a good idea). I can’t wait to post new outfit photos with our new pieces.Thanks to Nordstrom South Coast and Sincerely Jules for the awesome event.

For the Bun Lover..Try The Half-Up Half-Down Bun

How to get it: You have the option of doing this on straight or curly hair.Simply separate half your hair and tease it just a little for some volume.Twist your hair into a little bun and attach bobby pins for it to stay. If you want a more boho look like Mary-Kate then use a rubber band like you are making a ponytail and pull half your hair through it.

For the Braid Lover..Try a Braid Bun

How to Get it:Separate hair down the middle into four sections(two tops, two bottoms).Braid each section individually half way and attach with a bobby pin in it’s place.Take the remaining hair and twist it into a low bun and attach with bobby pins.Voilà ! *I suggest pulling out a few “tendrils”as Cher Horowitz would say for a little dishelved look*

For the Ponytail Lover…A Double Pony with Lots of Volume

How to get it:I saw this on the Free People Blog and fell in love with it.First curl your hair to get some volume. Separate your hair into two parts,gather the top section into a ponytail and then take the second the section and pull it into a pony tail under the top ponytail, making sure that the bottom ponytail is hiding under the top. How to get it:Part your hair on the side. Take one half,pull down a few long layers and pull the remaining back and into a mini bun. Take the hair on the other side of the part and apply a little bit of hair gel and comb it back as tightly as possible.Gather it into a little bun in the back as well.

One of the things I love most about my job is that I am able to actually “get ready” for work.This could be a good and a bad thing actually because finding something to wear can literally drive me mental, especially in the morning.Today I threw this outfit together and actually ended up loving it.I started off with this silky top I got from a resale store in Dana Point, I LOVE a lingerie style cami it adds just enough of a sexy feel to an ensemble. This oversized blazer is one of my favorite colors,nude. It seriously can go with anything and can easily be dressed or down.Those BDG pants I basically live in because they are so comfortable and again go with everything.Lastly, my babies,thee Sam Edelman studded flats. I wanted these so bad but they were a little pricy for so I decided to look on Ebay for them ( definitely recommend) and found then for around 60 bucks which is pretty amazing.I never pay full price for anything unless I reallly want it:) Hope this inspired you!

I have such a 90s fashion crush on Alicia Silverstone. Who could forget Cher Horowitz from Clueless? She literally set the bar for almost my entire late 90s wardrobe base. There are so many great 90s Alicia classics from "The Crush" to the amazing Aerosmith music videos for "Cryin" and "Amazing". She embodied the popular girl with a vixen twist.

    My mom,sister and I attended a beautiful baby shower in Laguna Beach this past week for our friend April.If you have never been to Laguna Beach(yes,the place in the MTV show) I highly recommend going for a daycation there.I love the little deck that is right by the beach, it makes for an awesome place for photos so I had to take the opportunity for an outfit sesh.I had been dying to wear that skirt from Threadsence since I bought it but I had a hard time finding what to wear it which is ironic because you would think a white skirt would go with everything! I decided on a silk cami from H&M ( maybe spent 12 bucks on!) and a crisp white blazer also from H&M. I was pretty excited about how it turned out:) Also, check out my necklace from GiantLion! I was lucky enough to be a 90′s child and I just had to pay homage to it this week with this totally 1995 ensemble.The sunglasses I got from my boyfriend for my 20th birthday and I will never forget how ahmazing it felt to walk into Dior and pick those babies out.My dress I stole from my sister( only cool thing about sharing a closet) and it has a totally adorable hi low cut that I absolutely love.To finish off my look, I opted for my mini Bloomies back pack(totally Cher Horowitz) and of course my beloved Doc Martens ( also got from the bf this past Christmas).Finally got a much-needed hair makeover and went back to ombre..it really is the best hair trend ever.
