Another 90’s revival that is making a comeback is tying button down’s or sweatshirts around the waist. The cool thing about this is it’s more about changing up the way you wear your clothes rather than having to buy something to look trendy. Just take a cool plaid or denim (these work best) button down and wrap it around your waist with a pair of short denim cut offs and chucks and you are good to go. This look definitely has a grungy feeling and it’s perfect for transitioning into the colder months; especially on those months when you don’t know if you’ll need a jacket or not. Look at the inspo for ideas on different combo’s and pieces to try. I personally love replacing the plaid and opting for a leather jacket around the waist instead, it feels more modern and badass.
Ps: Isn’t it crazy to see that everything Alex Mac is wearing is totally on-trend right now. #whatgoesaroundcomesaround

Nicole took a matching top+bottoms and transformed it into another look just by simply tying the top around her waist!
The Man Repeller herself putting a dressed up spin on the look. Simply pair your favorite button down with a simple black dress for a dressier look.
Add a floppy hat to the mix for a lil touch of boho
Nicole is obsessed with this look right now. Another great option is just a good pair of black cutoffs.
